vendor3Sponsorships allow businesses and organizations an opportunity to promote themselves as well as join Ferndale’s biggest party of the year.  Since 2011, Ferndale has kicked off summer with its annual pride festival. Listed on the website After Ellen as a ”Small City Pride That is Worth the Trip,” Ferndale Pride draws more than 25,000 attendees for a full week of events leading up to Pride’s premiere event the daylong street fair. At the fair, the main stage entertains crowds with internationally known artists, such as The Clicks, Goddess & She, Tony Lucca and Tunde.  The dance stage keeps the crowd boogying as Detroit’s best DJs spin into the evening. More than 150 booths line the streets as sponsors and vendors create a festive mood for the participants.   Ferndale Pride has given over $140,000 to various organizations including  Ferndale community foundation, gender identity network, Matrix MAC health, transgender Michigan, and Affirmations.

I am co owner of Detroit Respect clothing company and we have been a proud vendor of the Ferndale Pride for the past five years. It is by far our favorite event of the year and something we look forward too. The coordinators are by far some of the nicest people we have had the pleasure working with and the volunteers are always smiling and asking how they can help us. The people who have put on the event and the people in attendance have been like a family for us and can’t wait for the 2019 Pride

Just wanted to say Thank you again for inviting Finch Finery back to Ferndale Pride. This festival is our favorite. Everyone is so incredibly kind and positive. We love seeing happy people being themselves. Products we have purchased and worn outside of the festival bring us many compliments and open many positive discussions and greetings. Thanks again! - The feather girls.
